Our “Mead Quest” QR game is an interactive experience exclusively designed for attendees of the 2025 Meading at the Garden live event at Alta Vista Botanical Gardens. Participation is subject to the following guidelines to ensure a fun and fair experience for all:
Participation Requirements:
- Players must hold a valid ticket to the 2025 Meading at the Garden event.
- A mobile device with internet access and QR code scanning capabilities is required. Standard data and internet usage rates may apply, depending on your service provider.
- There is no additional fee or payment required to participate in the game.
How to Play:
- Players will receive a map or list of 5 Quest Locations throughout the event grounds.
- Scan the QR code at each Quest Location to earn 5 points per location.
- Once you complete all 5 quests, you will be automatically entered into a prize drawing!

- Eligibility: The game is intended for event attendees only. Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant for failure to comply with event rules or for attempts to manipulate game results.
- Privacy: By participating, you acknowledge that your participation data (such as scanned QR entries) may be used for the sole purpose of tracking participation and administering prizes. No personal data will be shared.
- By participating in the “Mead Quest” game and entering your information (such as scanning QR codes), you acknowledge and agree that the event organizers may use your contact information (such as email address) to send updates related to Future Mead Quests, Mead events, and similar events. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included in our emails. Your contact information will not be shared with any third parties and will only be used for event-related communications from the event organizers.
- Disclaimer: The event organizers are not responsible for any mobile data charges or connectivity issues participants may experience. Please ensure your device has adequate battery life and a stable connection for the duration of the game.
- Fair Play: Sharing QR codes outside of designated Quest Locations or engaging in any unauthorized means of completing quests will result in disqualification.
- Players must hold a valid ticket to the 2025 Meading at the Garden event.

- Prizes are limited while supplies last. Visit the Wizard’s booth once you’ve completed your 10 quests!
- Once registered, players will receive 10 Quest Locations (one at a time) to visit Meadery booths through the event grounds.
- Scan the QR code at each Quest Location to earn 1 Mead point per location.
- Once you complete all 10 quests, claim your prize at the Elven Wizard’s Booth!

Prizes & Availability
Each participant who completes all 10 Quests by scanning the correct QR codes at each designated booth will be eligible to claim a prize at the Elven Wizard’s booth.
🎁 Please note: Prizes are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Completing the Quest does not guarantee a prize if supplies run out.
It’s possible the developers of this game were drinking mead while battling goblins on an epic quest in the forest during the creation of this thing. So if something happens to not work, it’s the goblins’ fault…don’t be mad at us!
